From what I get, he’s a traitor who was planning to stab the king in the back. Also, it seems he was corrupted and payed people with money that he wasn’t supposed to touch (like money laundering but with the funds they had).
Am i the only one who doesn't like when they immediately jump to sex right after a confession ? Like i get it but it feels like it takes away from the sincerity of it all, that aside this is such a wonderful story and good writing through and through

I mean he's clearly not human and he's just following the rules HUMANS put, and even when he sees that it's clearly hurting them they don't retaliate so they must want this right? He was either just born (like how we saw in the first chapter) or isolated from humanity and is learning how to be a human based on what others are saying
I think you're... kinda right xD I mean, we make our value system through experience and imitation after all. And he's actually empathetic cause he felt sad when he killed the guy, but he thought he 'had' to do it. Now he is relieved because teach told him not to that anymore. Horrible, yeah, but complicated.
i really like this take. he's stumbling around in a world where people are too afraid to oppose him and thus enable every violent act that he only does cause he assumes its what they want. he genuinely wants to be taught true morals but so far he's been raised as an image of terror and oppressive force. we can see he's actually filled with empathy but he's not learned to channel it in humane ways. He's a really interesting character in this regard! i feel bad that he'll probably be villainized or viewed as just a monster for a while now lolol
The character is written so well but I'm scared that the author is going to a different direction with that last scene, i hope I'm wrong, the character build is brilliant and i hope the author doesn't nerf him
