These past few chapters have me thinking maybe MC really doesn't have DID and it's actually the situation he thinks it is, except the current reality is a past life which is why he reacts to the original's triggers. Since it almost seems like his conversations with ML in the other reality may have actually happened with how ML was talking about fate, and maybe ML had some memory of his past life at that time. But I'm not sure, I definitely think it'd be more interesting if MC really does have DID and the future just broke him so badly that he developed it when he regressed.
