I am actually hoping for less drama. sometimes I think there can be too much complications within plots just to keep the audience engaged. Maybe most people enjoy that but I think a lot of people just want some drastic personality shifts within characters. Like you'll not watch this guy grovel because I doubt that's in his nature. (Although I would like him to pine a bit more too lol)
The mc also never really showed his "desperation" in a way that's hard to watch. I think they both have been "adult" in their behaviours. That's why I like them both even with their shortcomings. I get this sense of calmness from both of them weirdly enough, and that for me makes them really compatible. They give of my nice vibe as a pair.
