I just binge read this for a couple of days from Chapter 1 and I must say Jeffrey has always deserved to be the ML.

The plot was kinda messy tho. The villain's motivation and plan wasn't really cohesive but it's good it wrapped up kinda fast.
Only other thing was they didn't really ahow her much as a great magician. We were only mostly told that she's one of the greatest without much to show for it but I can look past that coz of the ML's cuteness lol
I can't imagine how this will end. They will only be free if they miraculously won the lottery or something.

From what I understand they needed to make sure everyone knew the truth so there could truly be peace or something. I do agree that I drug out a little longer than necessary and that the high lords death was kinda anticlimactic (like I expected a hugeeee fight to the death type thing lol).
