I'm not sure about anywhere else, but in Japan you can have your post delivery to the convenience store instead of your house.. convenient for people who are not always at home to receive the delivery

In Poland as well, at least with some of the convience stores. It's better because it's usually open till 10/11 pm instead of post office which opening hours make no sense (sometimes it closes at 2pm!! Most people finish work 3pm!! Polish Post Office YOU'RE GONNA DIE AND I WILL LAUGH AT YOUR GRAVE)
