i get why he didnt escape when he had the best opportunity because he doesn’t know the layout of the house nor does he know if there is truly someone else who helped winter. he doesnt know how winter would react to seein him attempt to escape because when he was hittin winter he took that as raymond showin him affection only because thats what his mother told him as a reason why his dad was beatin his mother. like i really wanted him to escape when he had the chance but with those factors the best thing for him to do in that situation was to wait and kinda convince winter to also allow him to go upstairs. like that was the safest option he had which is fuckin depressin in that situation. i just hope he doesnt actually fall in love with him and choose to stay after what winter did/does to him

could someone give me a update on the recent chapters? i dropped this when alices father(?) basically told the king “hey shes your bio daughter” and she realized when she was in the palace the duke(?) was gonna marry her to black hair son so he could have more power and she didnt want that and i think in the same chapter at the end it showed evan(?) was in a forced coma and was gonna be used for somethin by the temple i dont remember what but i was pissed about the duke usin alice and her just realizin it and dropped it and because of that i dont really wanna read but would like to know whats happenin in the chapters after that °<°
