Honestly, I read this because people talked about it on tik tok and I saw that one of the characters was cute but like??? I promise it ultra rare for me to criticize a story but I honestly Have no idea what I just read. The story line is the definition of messy. Its beyond me

I cannot find a way to see any of the characters annoying?? Especially Hajin since he’s so cute and soft but for some reason y’all find him expressing his feelings of hurt when he finds that someone he really trust doesn’t trust him equally?? Like shit, that stuff hurts me too.
I love Chanwoo, I think he’s a good and entertaining character and I overall love this story, BUT SIR- you say he checks off all your boxes: handsome, gay, bdms, etc. BUT MIND YOU SIR, GORGEOUS MAN MD HAS ALL THOSE (except he’s older I believe) AND WANTS A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU EVEN THOUGH THICK AND THIN. New guy seems nice (as of right now, probs gonna cause trouble) but MD been there since day one. Very angry and yet excited to see what comes next.
Does Jungwoo’a dad for or against Jungwoo having a boyfriend?? Like did he really call it filthy or was it about the condition of the room?
Walk on water was the first yaoi I read so I have a soft spot for it; it truly is a good story and I enjoy it lots but in light of the recent chapters and events I cannot help but feel anxious about things (if that’s a good way to try to explain how I’m feeling).The rape subplot of Chang and the fact that Ed is in a dark spot in his life makes me feel jittery. Thus, I am always shaking in my boots.
Considering how overdramatic and unnecessary cruel Vol2 turned out to be, I fully understand why this W.O.W. would be hard to stomach- especially so when it is your first yaoi story.
I also enjoyed the story up until the middle of Vol2, after that I'm here just to look at the amazing art until this artist moves to illustrate another story.
[Just remember - there are literally gazillions of MxM comics/stories out these (not only on this site, but many others, too). Take your time to learn what you like/dislike, where your boundaries are and search for the stories you enjoy.
Never force yourself to read a story you no longer enjoy, because there are thousands in line waiting to be checked out.

Thank you!! That was extremely sweet of you to say! Though Walk on Water is my first, I have read other ones and such that have a darker twist in it's second half (sadly). However, I do still enjoy walk on water and find it interesting none the less, just that the plot has become more ambiguous.
That part when he said “I can handle my feelings for you, but I don’t think I can handle you” made me hurt a lot. That line hits different ╥﹏╥
