Standing up for Yihyeok and Inseo... I have separation anxiety, I get why Inseo is written like that. I feel like it makes sense story-wise that Inseo turned out like this, considering that his world revolved around Yihyeok and does even more now. Saying that he should be acting normal as if anxiety isn’t extremely common…
I’m not trying to say Inseo is a healthy partner, I agree with going to therapy. Though, stories often have conflict like this where the problem isn’t solved easily. I mean, realistically, a lot of people wouldn’t realize they have to go to therapy until someone tells it to their face. At least, I hope that’s where the story is going, that Yihyeok snaps Inseo out of it.
These comments are looking at Inseo through such a shallow lens. It isn’t “childish” to have anxiety. Inseo doesn’t hold anyone else on such a high level of importance, that’s probably why he acts like that, super clingy and protective. I just hope these two sort out their issues. Regardless, loving more of the content. <3
I’m tired of seeing people criticize this work because it is a romanticization of rape and abuse. IF IT WAS A ROMANTICIZATION, THERE WOULD BE ROMANCE. I fully believe that people who don’t acknowledge the deeper meaning of this story, aren’t capable of being empathetic. This story wouldn’t hit home if it ended with Minho leaving for good and living happily. That harsh hitting feeling of loneliness that people feel when they have nothing is so clear in the writing. I love this work because I cry to it, I feel how the characters feel. OBVIOUSLY Wookyung is a horrible person, and he became a horrible person because of how he was raised and his life experiences. Through the Minho’s suffering he was forced to see the reality. I’m never going to sympathize with Wookyung as a person, but redemption is always better than nothing at all. Seriously, if you hate this work JUST for the obvious, then you have a lack of literacy. Why read a psychological if you don’t like psychological? Of course, everyone has an opinion, I just wish more people expressed the deeper emotional meaning of this story and the fact it resonates that emotion so well. Well, thanks for reading my long rant.

This work is so dear to me, I love them so much I cry every time. Despite all those obstacles, I’m glad they got a happy ending. For sure one of my most favourite stories
