This is such a good manga but i think I’m a lil slow I don’t understand anything from the last chapter LMAO
So actually if i'm right , when Jin-woo entered the first time the dungeon they used his body as a sacrifice to bring back to life the shadow monarch, when he was "dying" they implanted the shadow's monarch heart in his body so he has two hearts and he only realised it now he is only used as a receptacle for the shadow monarch. Other monsters want to bring him back cause yeah the angels but idk why in the memories some of them rebelled.
So this is only what I understood I may be wrong but I hope it clarified some things(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Noooo lolol the shadow monarch chose Jin Woo and that time at the double dungeon he passed down his powers to Jin Woo slowly using the system that the architect made. He got the black heart just now because he gained the memories of the monarch, it’s one of the final steps to becoming one with the monarch or rather inheriting his powers.
