The mc didn’t deserve any of this bs and deserved a good loving life and partner and in the end of his life he kinda got that, I’m happy he’ll be able to rest well. Adolph On the other hand, I hope he dies slow and one’s he’s in hell & I hope he burns forever. He was such a bad guy from physically abusing mc to s3xually abusing him and then trying to act like such a good guy, delusional enough to think the mc wants him back and saying that mc was waiting for him in the after life like sir you’re going to HELL. And no mc is not waiting for you anywhere because he’s with Dr. Ai (in spirit). Dr. Ai is amazing character, to love someone who doesn’t love you back and have them live through you (in a way) beautiful and heartbreaking. I wish him well.
The way it got more and more intense as the chapter went on they’re FREAKS ☠☠ they slut each other out every chance they get!!
This story is amazing. I’ve been seeing clips from the anime on Twitter and wanted to pick up the book before I watched this show. This story is incredible. What romance should be, seeing side characters not only develop as people but seeing their own relationships develop too— THIS IS WHAT I DESERVE. THIS IS RENAISSANCE.

I read this (before it was finished) watched the show (fully) then just finished re reading and finishing this and there is such a difference between this and the show and it’s mainly because gay relationships aren’t shown freely in most Asian countries but there are so many kissing/sex scenes compared to the show which really reduced it. Not only that but there are parts that are skimmed over in this and seen as big plot points in the show (like how the two mc’s escaped the cave or what happened after they escaped the cave). I think both are definitely something to get into if you haven’t. The mc’s relationship is unmatched & can’t be replicated!!!!
Yes, but this is the original version/plot(or the more novel plot like version) they just removed and censored some scenes9because of china's censorship), the live action/the untamed changed a lot from the original plot(the novel).
