Tbh, it should've been where he's still trying to have kids. The author gave them to him too quickly. If it was an 8 Chapter story, then fine. But they're actually wanting it longer. The fighting tournament lasted all of 6 chapters--more or less--and there was nowhere else to go. So, what did they do? Gave Ray another baby. And like you said, he's barely, if at all, taking care of the first two.
