Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore this manga and always will, but, at this point, it needs to end. It needed to end before the whole Akihito having amnesia imo. With the way the plot is moving now, it just doesn't feel the same. I can't remember how old I was when I began reading this (probably middle school) and I am now 29, so at this point, I'll read all the new updates, in hopes of seeing a happy ending some time soon.

For me, the amnesia trope is so tiring. Some that I have read, include amnesia as an easy angst ploy. If the story is centered around an amnesiac character from the beginning, then I don't mind reading it, but if it's random amnesia, I skip it

I'm debating hard on dropping this now. I looked past the weird body proportions, and the slow build, but I cannot stand cheap misunderstandings just to lengthen the plot. Idk why characters in Manwha/Manga simply can't listen and always have to run off, yet when someone is clearly gaslighting them, they believe every word. Don't get me wrong, misunderstandings in plot can be done well, but IMO this is a case of it being done poorly.

If there is no trust, the relationship is doomed. I've seen friends irl go through this. It's the MC's mindset he needs to deal with, not expect his boss to tiptoe around him. If you go into a relationship already expecting or searching for signs of infidelity, then you aren't ready to date.

I don't understand characters that can not put their foot down. They know they're headed to a bad situation, yet allow themselves to be led somewhere with zero witnesses. They were just in a room with tons of people, at any point, he could have slipped in with the rest of the crowd when the brother wasn't looking. The last place you wanna be with someone who makes you uncomfortable is being alone with them. I know the niceties are partially a cultural thing, but even then, there's gotta be limits. This is strictly my opinion as it frustrates me to no end.
I would rather wait for quality translations than read MTL. MTL are practically unbearable to read, as they don't make any sense, while bingsoo cat cafe's translations bring character to the story.
I can confidently say, this isn't the worst thing that I have read ╮(￣▽￣)╭. Honestly, probably not even in the top 10...

If it's the right man, Yeonjo could be a full on kingmaker. I wouldn't be surprised if they talk it out, Yeonjo forgives Hee-ryang then saves him from his own assassin. They then team up to take down the emperor and Hee-ryang becomes the next emperor where they aren't sent out on insane killing sprees.
