I hate it and in this particular story is unnecessary. Sihwa has told Sohan to his face he plans bro take him back with him so the excuse that he “doesn’t know” does not apply here thus Sohan pushing away Sihwa because he’s afraid of losing him doesn’t apply either. Maybe he hasn’t straight up said he loves him, but telling him to his face he wants him to go back with him to his home
planet not enough confirmation that you’re not alone anymore?
Yeah, I’m this story in particular this “pushing you away” trope has no reason to exist.

from beginning to end I was in love with all of them for very different reasons. it's obvious he's in love with Suryeon but he loves Saharah too. I'm not sure what people were expecting for this ending but it was always clear they would not get what they really wanted...and sometimes being happy with what you get is enough

He’s got anxiety and it’s pretty serious, he’s even had several panic attacks. When you have anxiety you can’t help be irrational in certain situations, and Skylar’s anxiety was caused by a traumatic experience related with a rejection toward his sexuality
Finally someone who understands also ppl forget that one of their friends teased him and asked if they were dating. That probably made skylar even more anxious （￣へ￣）

FR i actually enjoy this kinda ,,slowburn‘‘ it makes the characters def more realistic bcs people in real life also don’t change their behavior immediately. It takes time. Ppl are just impatient and want to happy and in love the sec they get together. That’s not how life works and would totally ruin the pace of the story for me

Same, I adore slowburning because it allows development in character and relationships, and this story has been so careful with the construction of both aspects, that's part of the reason why it is so good, because it feels real, at times it's pretty raw but that’s also part of its charm for me haha
