FURTHERMORE. THIS FXUKING MALE LEAD IS JUST THERE. HES JUST THERE. WHAT EVEN IS IDENTITY? bc whatever it is, he doesn’t have it. it’s not in the room with us. He’s passive asf, letting girls invade his personal space and he’s “nervous” whilst rejecting them under the guise of his religion which i respect but is clearly just there as a cockblock to the plot so he’s not dating and sleeping and going out with every girl in the school. Like jesus christ. why is everyone OBSESSED with him. Love triangle, i get - it’s an unfortunate plot device used too generously in shoujo to the detriment of the audience’s sanity, and the satisfaction of no one. BUT TO HAVE SO MANY. TO HAVE A HAREM. BY GOD. MY GOD.

it was wholesome. it was sweet. i was excited by the sheer number of chapters. now i am but a sad readers, sorely disappointed and my time was properly wasted.

UPDATE 2: where the flying fuck is this story’s direction? i love the male lead. I love the art. The concept and premise is fantastic. HOWEVER, there is absolutely zero plot, i don’t know what i’m reading, i’m sorely disappointed and the female lead is giving nothing. Is the romantic chemistry in the room with us? I don’t think so.

Someone give to this story some CPR, every character (except for our gorgoeus male lead) is so frustratingly annoying with nonsensical motives that are just exaggerated to hyperbolic and comedic ridiculousness, and i simply cannot take any of it seriously.

The pink haired wench exists only to be an obstacle for the main girl, literally bending over backwards to ruin her life for absolutely no reason, literally engaging in supernatural witchcraft and for what? FOR WHAT? Petty dislike? There’s no motive at all and she only exists to be annoying, there’s absolutely no rhyme or reason and it’s fine for a while but my god to make 17+ chapters just of this tired drama is exhausting and simply stupid.

I have such a big bone to pick with the SML - bro wtaf. You lead the main girl on but behind her back kiss the pink haired girl and your whole thing is making fun of the main girl and excluding her aw how evil, but plot twist! You’ve loved her for 10 years. Un-fucking-believable. What do you even mean? It makes no sense. NO SENSE. Like make it make sense. Like what is even happening rn?

MOST OF ALL. the main girl. where did she die and lose absolutely every single redeeming trait about her? I’ve not seen one. Her development is embryonic, and that’s generous of me to say. She’s dryer than stale bread. Her only characteristics are glasses and high tight egg-head ponytail evidence of her bully’s influence (who may i add, once again, IS DOING THIS FOR NO REASON?), her uptight no-no-no-ness and her oh so poor siblings. She’ll get a glow up and wow more jealousy. more drama. more romance yay. It’s dry it’s tired and it needs rethinking. She’s so predictable i fall asleep every time she’s on my screen.

The male lead tiger is hard carrying everything, from serving looks to serving plot to serving chemistry with every character - he’s the only reason why i’m even bothering with this story any more.
