This is one of my favorite stories out of all. Not only it’s pretty original (style especially) but also even tho it’s a slow burn I don’t feel like it’s too slow. Tbh I think it’s good that they broke up (for now), I feel like they both need to sort their shit out and mature a bit. Their feelings and current situations are pure mess, they gotta deal with them. ML needs to get his situation under control and start being more assertive about the engagement, like I get u don’t want to hurt that girl but for both yours and your partners sake u should strictly say it to break it off. U have a right to do so, both sides need to agree to it. Besides that FL should’ve told him about his brothers, she needs to also stop trying to make decisions for him and understand that he is a grown men who can make a decisions for himself. It’s not her place to do that “for his sake”. I just think a break like that can do them good since they both have to get their shot together to have a healthy relationship, they just don’t seem to be ready for it cause they are a mess.
