Whatever, I guess it's an unpopular opinion but I hate how they had to force Clarisse and Cochise together just to backtrack on the whole "cheating" plot. I love both of them as characters but personally they didn't even have chemistry together until the last few chapters. Which makes it even clearer that this was rushed. Cochise's loyalty subplot was thrown away mid-plot and the whole pushing of marriages to other characters was then introduced.
Aside from that, I did enjoy the story. But man, the ending, happy that it was, just ain't it for me.

listen, i really love the story but zamn, it really suffers from pacing and abrupt tonal shifts. (￣∇￣")
man i dont even mind the love interests but boy do i wish the mc becomes significantly better during battles bc it often ends so frustrating since he only wins through deus ex machina (like a hidden skill out of nowhere or someone saving his ass). (￣∇￣")
I actually do stomach and find that to be oddly satisfying because it’s so much more realistic, but in others, I do get your frustration because I’m like, bro that wasn’t necessary though it seems to be mainly when he faces against the cult people that it’s mostly like that, but that is expected now that he’s a sick circle. I hope it does not continue being exact the same thing, but before it made sense, everybody was so above his level and it shows that he isn’t immortal that he isn’t just randomly OP that it is people that are stronger than him in that world and that you entered G level actually counts for something, and you can’t just pull everything out of your ass like even when he had a power up sometimes that still wasn’t enough, but I will Plot holes even with his magic and with the magic system itself, I don’t think it was shown to have enough progression and go back to the flashback younger than he does originally back in time when he’s a lot older, but he was technically already kicked out of the school, so it makes no sense age wise
