ngl im kinda disappointed with how the story portrayed jiho. obviously i wasnt ever rooting for him, but at the start, he never seemed to be like this one dimensional evil mccreeper like he is now. idk if there was a confirmation already of his real actions in the previous timeline since i dont know any novel spoilers, but the story made him out to be like this very interesting nuanced character who was ambitious, yes, but seemingly still had humanity. idk, his character just flopped for me, whether as a villain or otherwise. he had so much potential as a transmigrator too, shame.
with that said, im ever so glad we finally got the two leads officially together. none of that "he/she dont love me but i do, uwu" bs trope anymore. invested to see how mc overcomes the next set of hurdles.

it's not that i want the mc and his party to just steamroll the enemies, but it's just a bit frustrating to see them get beat up over and over. i get that the followers are really powerful, and their party is just trying to catch up to their levels but like... they need a serious massive power-up ┗( T﹏T )┛
also it's really fun to see monsters, places and even characters from maple story. i dont play the game but i did enjoy looking up what the game version equivalent from the webtoon is.

I'm also all for criticism of a story. Not ones gonna like the same stories as you 100% of the time. But the reason I agree with the other person's comment was because how do you expect them to not get beat up when they really are trying to level far faster than the remote norm and battle the people the caused the literal destruction of the world in a few years time. Its not even decades away in time but a couple of years time. Of course these ppl are gonna get thier asses kicked.
and the point of my post, as stated in clear details, is that i do get why it's happening. i would think everyone who read the story up to this point would also understand that. it's just not very fun for me to see them get beat up over and over so badly because the story made me really like this cast of characters, even though, as it bears repeating, that i do understand why the story has taken this direction. hence why i wanted, not even as a direct criticism at the story, but literally just a simple hope of them getting more powerful soon to stand toe to toe against the followers.

The only people I would ever consider angels on this site were the og translators that barely had internet access and shared a book they found interesting and decided to translate from the curiosity of their hearts. No translation apps, no stable int, not chat gpt. I comment all of thier efforts
