It's honestly so surprising that I enjoy reading about Sakura so much, when I started this manga I thought it was simply a fighting shonen but it's so much more. His emotional journey is so heartwarming to witness and I really can't wait for the new updates. Sometimes I wish that it wouldn't include fighting because I have to argue on a weekly basis with incels in the anime episodes comment section, because I have to explain to them that if they think this story is only about fighting then they severely lack reading comprehension.

It's actually very stimulating to the reader's brain. The history of including rape scenes to make a memorable story has always been popular since forever. Bible itself has it, it's make the reader's aware of rape culture and either tell the new comers about red flags or tell the rape victims they're not alone in this. Kinda like coping mechanisms but it's just harming your mental health by normalising it more. I'm afraid people who wants to read good stories with good art are swept away in these two categories of people and just cursed out as fujoshis. Which they're not wrong. Cause we do like to see yaoi but we never asked for rape and non con from these authors we just want romance between two males
Nah, its because authors and editors know where the money is. The money is in angsty drama and the reader's apparent desire for men who walk all over them.
