Y’all technically it’s the end. However there will be two more chapters featuring a “What if” scenario with the second love interest. It’ll be like a parallel universe where the first ml didn’t exist and the second ml and uke got together in the end.
Personally I think the What If scenario is where the second ml didn’t do what he had done and instead let their relationship gradually progress into romance (cuz we all know our uke is hella tsundere and needs a lot of gentle and subtle coaxing just like he had with the first ml)
It’s just so hard for me to read? Like you know the feeling where every chapter you are compelled to click the next chapter if it’s truly a good read? I just didn’t feel it. I skipped everywhere. It was dry...and just not worth the read for me at least. I like things that leave me on the edge of my seat, while this is just another mundane story. But i won’t bash the author since everyone has diff tastes.

Actually haha wait....Even though it bares a lot of similarities with Red River (A cunning mc that gradually grows stronger and a lover completely infatuated with said mc + action and politic wars in the court + a side character which is a king that falls in love with mc and kidnaps him) it's still not to par with Red River. However, there were a lot of similarities I enjoyed. I just wish the novel wasn't too long because my eyes hurt reading from the screen for like 8 hours lmaoo
