Had Enoch not taken her away when he did she would've probably had an opportunity to parent Lilith and there may have been some room for her to be more involved and maybe grow some affection for her.

Had that only be she only did she wouldn't be so hated. I tried justifying her mentality because it's the first time I encountered a mother character like this but what irks me the most is that she continues to dodge accountability for her actions, blame it to others and also continue to side with the evil even though she's a victim of that evil herself. Basically, she only wanted the easy way out to save her own skin and if nothing goes the way she wants she blames Enoch and the MC.
