Yes I agree but personally I think it is understandable because out of nowhere the Mc returned. I don't think anyone can keep their cool in that situation. Also he still loves the MC, personally I think he just can't leave his new lover out of guilt because his new lover stayed by his side for 5 years when he is miserable searching for the MC.

Nahh I get it. It's new and nice.. its kinda like that one transmigration story where FL is a huge fan of the characters so she fangirls for the ML and 'Villainess'. This one just feels a bit forced to a certain extent at certain scenes so that they can push the comedic factor of it.
