Sure, ML is now seeing FL for who she really is and not the misconception he's had based on their few encounters but it's a little too late considering how long they've been supposedly engaged. He jumped to the conclusion that FL hated children just because of one passing comment. Like, can't even bother to ask her to clarify on it. I'm not hating on ML here, I understand that he did go through traumatizing shit but I also feel bad for FL.
