The red head needs therapy ASAP, he is the definition of self sabotage. I can go on a whole rant about why he is the way he is but I won’t for now. Essentially this whole dynamic between the two is just a long winded trauma response. He’s not actually jealous about what Siwoo is doing, infact he couldn’t care less about the man’s personal life. This is just because he doesn’t have control, after unfortunately being raped the red head has definitely had a loss in control, it was one of the things that made him so insufferable in the first place—his constant need to have things go his way.
He also has a clear inferiority complex, and he tries to inflate his importance and dominance beyond what is true. Seeing someone like Siwoo, a successful, independent and socially well adjusted man is “triggering” for the read head which keeps leading to these outbursts. ANYWAYS, I don’t think the redhead will ever change, I don’t think he’ll have “character development” and I don’t think he’ll become a good person (in the story). What I do think will happen is that he’ll have a mental break, or instinctually become subservient to Siwoo. Anyways that’s all, a little analysis from me

Yea probably. i dont expect him to have a character redemption arc because even the author doesn't like him very much... BUT I DO. He's grown on me. In an ideal situation he would be getting therapy as you said and learn to work through his problems to become a better person for himself:,) i really wish that for him...but its not going to happen ig

Alot of the people who are upset and getting mad at Haesol and Junhyuk have no idea what it means to be in their situation. Yeonwoo has attachment and codependency issues which can get really stressful very quickly. Yeonwoo is barely able to advocate for himself or solve his problems (this isn't a diss just an analysis) which leaves Junhyuk to take care of alot of his issues. He's very reliant on Junhyuk similarly to a way a child is with their parents. This isn't new either, in the flashback Yeonwoo had stated that he always goes to Junhyuk for help, it's fine to ask for help but he was building a habit of being unable to take care of himself.
The thing about Yeonwoo is that alot of his problems bleed into his friendships, his low self esteem for example. Yeonwoo has clear signs of mental illness, Yeonwoo's inability to recognize what he did wrong is part of the problem. Yes Junhyuk and Haesol should communicate but think about the type of person Yeonwoo is. It would make him insecure, Yeonwoo's personality type is a very draining type to be around, not so much because of his issues but for the sole reason that his issues becomes his friend's problems. Again these are all teenagers so please be understanding but DO NOT villainize Haesol or Junhyuk,

I really don’t see why Sasya is going back to Karel, everyone is moving on, I also think it’s a bit…to put it bluntly, embarrassing and regressive. I understand Sasya was going through a lot when he met Karel and Karel’s treatment of Sasya was not good, but right now it seems like Sasya is only going back to Karel because he was the only person who showed affection and gave him attention. He’s not really doing it out of love or respect so to me it feels a bit shameless?
Like I feel like we’re forgetting Karel went to prison for him, (which during this time period was basically a death sentence), wrote him letters for years, basically rescued him from poverty but Sasya only wants to do what’s convenient for him.
I see both sides but I’m not rooting for Sasya, his feelings right now aren’t even 1/10th of what Karel showed. When you really think about it, Sasya wouldn’t do the same for Karel, (ie going to prison and war) so it’s really embarrassing to see him chase after a dude who he has no actual feelings for.
I really do feel for the grey haired dude, really. His circumstances were really sad and it's easy to understand why it affects him the way it does HOWEVER, I feel like people don't understand how frustrating it is to deal with someone like that especially in a relationship. Going out of your way to make them feel validated, walking on egg shells, and being treated like a opprtunist who's just waiting to cheat is not fun. When it comes to people like the uke, once they have an idea in their head it's hard to change their mind. He already convinced himself that something more is going on, and while that is understandable because what happened in the past, it doesnt change the fact it's shitty for the other person. He needs to heal, grow and get help before he start's getting into relationships. His friend already warned Taewhan, even it's unintentional it doesn't change the fact that he has the protentional to be toxic. I'm sympathetic towards him but at the same time Taewhan shouldn't be the one to bare the weight of his insecurities.
So glad you said this. People need to be responsible and be held accountable for their own actions. Being hurt in the past doesn't give people the right to hurt others and it's not a free pass either. Not everyone is a cheater and the uke shouldn't treat Taewhan like he is.
well said
Yes, YES, all of this. I've even been with someone who used to tell me they wanted to die every day from depression. Eventually it's emotionally and mentally exhausting to keep them feeling loved and validated because the bar gets higher and higher and they need it more and more often. It kills you ever so slowly. So the fact the spoilers say he cheated because of this makes me genuinely hate the bottom. He's a victim AND a perpetrator by that point. Therapy should be more of a thing in comics but then we wouldn't have such drama lol
You spoke so well that I hearted and favorite your comments, thank you for this insight
