The author needs their ass ate for this story. One of my biggest pet peeves is having overly toxic and aggressive male leads with shy and naive main characters. HOWEVER their dynamic works so well. Especially considering the theme of this story it makes sense that both characters would be y’know....crazy.
Authors need to stop doing this. Why do they like putting the most shy, impressionable and naive characters in the worst possible situations. The MC literally has no personality or anything that makes him interesting besides being cute. The only expressions he ever shows is just sadness or blushing. IMO the story would’ve been better if the MC was more manipulative. It would be interesting to see someone taking advantage of the fact someone is literally ready to commit FUCKING MURDER for them.

Right! If I'm getting psychotic relationships, I need the ukes to be as psychotic and manipulative, even more so. That we would be surprised underneath that cute and oh so innocent is a pure mastermind that planned everything from the start and the seme took to it like a bee to its Queen, thinking his lover is sweet and innocent but no he just as crazy as he is.

Okay so I just binge-read this in the last hour, can someone please explain the plot to me. I don't understand the sneezing, going back in time, and all that stuff.
Honestly there’s not really an explanation...it just happens bc plot LOL
basically, zhen hao and fu got married in an area that was being investigated for some sort of suspicious cases going around over there which was a slight hinting as to why shen and is daughter switched places. the sneezing is just the way that fu can can switch with shen and zhen hao and fu touching is a way for shen to switch with fu. the "dream" that shen had when he was 19 was memories of his 19 year old self meeting zhen hao in the future. like- if zhen hao had gone back in time and met 19 shen than our present time shen would've remembered him, but instead it was 19 year old shen who switched bodies with his future self which is why he only had a vague memory of zhen hao because them having the rebooted car race had not happened in 19 year old shen's timeline yet.

I always get anxious whenever I see BL characters who are lowkey crazy because of the fact 9 times out of 10 they abuse their partner BUT THIS. *chef kisses* I love how they both can handle each other. There is no weird power dynamic just two mentally unstable people
