apparently, Ripley has overworked herself with the oil business and the wedding preparations which made her have nosebleeds. The Duke is angry at her for prioritizing the business over her wedding and getting sick for that. That's why he prohibited her from going out, so she can rest and choose the wedding things.
Yeah in the previous chapter she had a nosebleed while meeting with Wight and Etoile. I thought it was included but maybe I'm thinking of the raws and the translators forgot to include it. Anyways the nosebleed is where the blood came from
