She was a mess when that piece of shit father left. Although it was a political marriage, her mother truly loved her father. When it wasn't reciprocated, it turned into a dark obsession. Her mother would make her dress up as the dad because they looked so much alike. She only sees her as that man, even to her death she wished that her daughter was that man instead. They were shitty parents. How they managed to get a daughter like her is beyond me

i ABSOLUTELY LOVE this. i read it all in almost one sitting.. the writer does a really great job with the emotions and backstories of everyone, even the demons! I think it also has a nice balance of ridiculous and serious moments
