For me it was boring I skipped a lot of the plot, only read the important scenes
I agree. Main characters (grown men) cried way too much so that I was feeling very uncomfortable. And the love story was so-so...
So grown men can't cry because it makes you uncomfortable? That's a yikes.
definitely a yikes

False dichotomy? Bruh she said that men, specified GROWN MEN, crying so much made her so uncomfortable that she didn't like it/skipped a lot of scenes, that's a huge yikes
Let me Clarify one thing, I didn’t skip because of the crying thing, for the pain the characters have been through crying is normal, I skipped because I kind of understood the scene but the dialogue kept going, I even understood the whole story and guessed what gonna happen when I was in the middle of it, the only surprising thing was the Shiman losing his power and the two of them stopped seeing the spirits and got separated, them lived on earth and the spirits in heaven, so its like this plot could make a shorter story and the characters could develop the same way, thats what I personally thought at that moment
Yet that person still never said that grown men aren't allowed to cry. You are putting words in their mouth, and you are also telling them they aren't allowed to feel what they feel. Yikes to you as well.
I was referring to the person who said she didn't like it because the grown men cried so much it made her uncomfortable
Honestly
I don't think it's wrong to believe that other people shouldn't have such a toxic standard for men that they can't handle seeing them cry just because they're grown men. That perpetuates the idea that men should suppress their feelings for thr sake of others' comfort and to be "manly," and in reality it's stuff like that that makes toxic masculinity and depression in men so rampant.
You can racist towards black people and be uncomfortable when they're president too, doesn't mean that it's okay to feel that way and no, I will not respect it.
Ah, I have some typos, but you get the point
Ok, now it feels like my comment started a conflict
