Plot is okay. But their dynamic pmo sm. Tell me why we have to read through this blockheaded mc and the tsundere type ml who cant properly express his feelings. I hated reading the parts where she kept comparing herself to him like.. youre worth more than those measly grades and accomplishments. Tell me why the side charas have more plot and more words than the mcs. The ridiculous world building with an entire essay bubble speech. I think i read through 21 chaps before. But now i cant even go past chap 10. This is NOT enemies to lovers troupe, its just a guy who is “mean to her cuz he likes her” troupe. Dont even compare this to enemies to lovers bcuz it is nothing like that
Also the fact that mc cant get a glue even after the masquerade party was crazy

So the Prince has an inferiority complex. Unlike the other princes he’s not that great. When he met Bridgette, he knew that he would gain praises for being engaged to Bridgette, a girl who was all but disowned from her family due to having a nameless spirt and being seen by society a red fairy. He made her become dumb and act like a spoilt and haughty villainess, just so she can be inferior to him. He got tired of her and decided to go after the baron daughter because he’s bored. After the scene the baron daughter made, where she didn’t know what a spirit blocking collar was, he tried to fix his reputation by trying to get back with Bridgette. He once again tried to get Bridgette on his side after learning what her spirit is actually is.
Bridgette’s spirit as u can guess is a Phoenix, but is currently in a baby chick form. When Bridgette first made the contract, the Phoenix’s power was too much for Bridgette’s body to handle, she could potential die, so it went into hibernation, waiting for Bridgette to grow. After her father burnt her hand using his fire spirit, the Phoenix decided to continue to hibernate cause Bridgette was scared of fire and her spirit didn’t want to scare her, only coming out to save her from danger. Right now it’s a chick cause Bridgette only recently got over her fear of fire, she’s still not ready to wield the full power of the Phoenix.
The reason it was called a nameless spirit was because the spirit didn’t use its full power and I’m pretty it’s been years since anyone was able to contract with a Phoenix spirit. But it will later be revealed to the whole kingdom that Bridgette’s spirit is the Phoenix. Her parents will try to get her back, but she doesn’t want to. Her father lost his spirit after using him to burn Bridgette’s hand. Her parents adopted a child from their branch family. He’s contracted with the same spirit that the trash sperm used to be with. So he uses his adopted son to make it look like he still has a spirit. The adopted brother isn’t bad, he doesn’t hate Bridgette or anything. In the future he and Bridgette will get along well. I’m pretty sure Bridgette is on good terms with her mother in future. Her father was the only she’s not ok with.

If I remember correctly the Phoenix is a legendary spirit and has never appeared in the physical world, was only known due a certain book author's drawing and description because his spirit shown him the spiritual world.
Why is she on talking terms with her mother!?!!?!!!! That woman is not a mother, how could she allow that to happened to her baby and all the remarks she made. Ha! And the father! Damn! What the hell were they all thinking when they did what they did to the poor child! And to abuse her infront of ANOTHER child, that's just shameful and disgusting. How could Yuri's brother be throwing the blame to him for being a child when the adults turned mad just because the priest called an unknown spirit, "nameless" and "minor".

The prince? She can said it but she can't totally refuse him since the prince have higher authority than her stature unless the ML sticks to her and protects her or claim her as his fiancé but he won't do it at the moment due to some guilty feelings related to the past.

The uncle can’t succeed the throne cuz he became a subject or smth and also gave up the right tot he throne, the brother is already married so it won’t work because they want Erina to be the queen.
But lowk the chemistry is mostly cuz they’re all childhood friends and stuff. If Erina was also a childhood friend there would already be chemistry.
But I like that they don’t and they’ll slowly start to have some. Hopefully.
