This is from my understanding, but a little background, Leo came back to the orphanage, she got to see this boy again, Yubin, who was apparently “adopted” by a family before her, but got “disowned” and she also noticed Teacher Connie, who Leo trusts, (she was also shown in like the first few chapters) wasn’t at the orphanage cuz she’s in her hometown or something.
And now, she overheard the other teacher and the director of the orphanage saying that Teacher Connie actually sold Yubin and other childrens off to be slaves so she can be with a man or something. And this has been happening the whole time when Leo was still in the orphanage, which was like 2-3 yrs. So, basically, Yubin had been abused as slaves for three years or so, ALL because of a teacher
