Inferna mentioned that the Emperor, Arnold, looks like hes planning a war against the other empire. They already announced a war against the Gem empire when Arnold asked his illegitimate child, Ian, to kill the White Dragon using the dragon slayer spear. It is the only weapon who can hurt the dragons and they cant heal it easily, thus, a threat to their life.
Inferna, having dreamed of piercing with the dragon slayer spear, asked the fire empire to help them with Ian. The fire empire decided to go to the Golden empire for a 'war', taking advantage of them being weak because their elite and vanguard forces are currently in the Gems empire. I believe they went their to not really kill Limon and Inferna, they kinda frenemies, but to help them stop Ian from conquering the Gem empire. Remember, the emperor will give Inferna as a reward to whom will conquer the Gen empire first. So I believe, instead of the Fire going to the Gem, they went to the Golden instead, and since they are weak, the emperor had to ask Ian to return immediately to help them with the battle against the Fire, thus, stopping him from conquering the Gem and stopping him from getting Ian. Also, its an advantage for the Fire to stop the Golden since they have the dragon slayer spear.
