What happened is another woman was captured, believing she was the witch because of her red hair. Something happened I think. Maybe elking parents tried to help and there was an explosion or something and the woman escaped. Seeing it from outside and how the soldiers believed that woman to be the witch since this all happened at the same time Hildegarde disappeared from the battlefield the rumor spread that the deaths were cause by hildegarde
