nah bad take. This is a direct sequel to the original story, and yes it’s Byul’s story, but the author decided to add in the *unfinished* plot point from the previous story. The mom and Hyesung’s relationship. If it’s going to make it to this story, then address it properly - don’t blow it over within a single chapter. That’s not good writing, especially for something as huge as this. If the author was going to spend a chapter on this and use it as a tool for Byul’s love story, why make it this? Why not use something else? Literally their entire family cries over things, the author could’ve made something else for Byul to cry about to get the ML to like him.
