Omg how. I tried getting into one piece but remembering that it has 900+ episodes demotivates me from watching it.
Just ignore the fact that it has 900+ episode and start watching.. Once you start you'll not want to leave it because it's ADDICTIVE.. You'll love the story and love the characters then BOOM you won't notice you're already addicted to it XD.... Even if you want to watch another anime but you haven't finished One Piece, just finish the arc (about 50-70 episodes for each arc) then come back later.. I've been watching One Piece for more than 10 years.. Every year once school starts I stop watching it and watch something else.. When school ends there will be about 50-60 episodes and I watch them in holiday.. I already finished 900 episodes.
