The story itself would slowly unravel and make sense had the translation was better. It creates confusion and I needed to piece it together by re-interpreting the meaning of each line. Although you guys claim 'spoilers', it's not really a spoiler if the chapters dropped numerous hints. Like the books, the empress, the contract, the King's anguish, and her merciless acts.
I'm sure the reason behind it would reveal itself in the later chapters... though I do wish the translations were better. Ngl... I would've dropped it had it not been for the beautiful art. Such a shame....

This is probably one of the few where the male lead notices where the misunderstanding occurred, rather than finding out later. He seems to have gained knowledge of a past life/version of himself.. so I'm enjoying this!

but why is Julie so irritable about finding the MC's 'true' skills... and trying to jeopardize a life/practice. Literally not understanding what's going on in her mind..
if u put it in the way of you trying your best while someone is not, things can get frustrating, not to the extent u should endanger someone but i understand her frustration. My sister had always been good at singing, she has the most beautiful voice ever imo and I suck as in, I'm out of tune always. I try really hard because we r both in choir but I still get stuff wrong and I can't do it well but she doesn't try at all. It frustrates me because I wanna be good at it too, and I practice a lot but for her it comes naturally and she doesn't bother to show her talent. Honestly, in a way its like if I had her talent I would sing to my hearts content so its frustrating that she doesn't do that.
In simple terms I guess, you can say its because I care for her that I feel frustrated she isn't doing things at her best or with her full potential because I know she can be so much more... Do you get it?
I understand the sentiments of your case, and thank you for sharing this! Though there hasn't been any display of that type of emotion coming from Julie. It seems more like jealousy for now, but maybe in the later chapters this will change. Honestly, she doesn't seem to care about the safety of others if she's willing to let go at that moment(during practice). I find it more frustrating that she's trying prove a point while putting others in danger. This is the main cause of my irritation against her. Yes she has the talent, but every one has their own circumstances... though MC is slowly making no sense to me at this point...
Side note: I'm sure you were an amazing singer in your own way! You're very sweet for seeking the better and looking out for your sibling. ヾ(☆▽☆)
Yes i agree with you about Julie putting others in danger, that was wrong and very selfish of her. I guess I just have a soft spot for realistic villains hopefully we get better understanding of her and she becomes friends with everyone.
Also thank you for saying that, but all honesty I am really very bad XD I am verrrrry tone deaf HAHAHA I think when God gave out talents in music my sister took it all HAHHA but its ok I'm better at drawing than her so thats fine XD
