I might need to reread to understand it better, but if someone can be kind enough to explain why the original Fiona wasn't able to reclaim her entity and ended up beside that psychotic guy in the last panel.

Fiona didn't like the current fiona because she tried her best but was abandoned by everyone, while this fiona is living her life happily loved by others.

Also, letting a child roam around is one thing, but giving her the mobility to barge into a patient's room is beyond my understanding. There is an INJURED person in bed right now and the situation seems to taken ever so lightly once the child comes in the room. I feel as if her injury was treated as if there's nothing to be worried about in comparison to protecting the daughter that's not even in the slightest danger.
This family really irks me... and the chapter ended with the ML looking anguished, great, but it felt like a forced reaction. I just wish for FL to leave this household soon.
