LMAO I love that so many people love queer elements to their stories... Sadly I think people forget that the doctor has a wife and I'm pretty sure kids as well.
Also did the art change a bit recently? I have had a feeling but I feel like it was really a smack in my face these past few chapters. Even the storytelling feels a bit different.
EDIT: I had a feeling people forgot: Moyong Baek became The Poison Demon because of the fact that The Great Rakshasa (or however you spell that old man's name) killed his whole entire family. This is one of the main points of the main story, something very dear to Yi Zaha because while The Poison Demon still had the smallest shred of humanity and pity inside of him he helped Yi Zaha from facing death (i forgot the technical term it was, when his martial arts breaks and he gets those purpley vines on him). The reason why The Poison Demon pitied Yi Zaha is because he saw the same craziness in Yi Zaha's eyes that were in his, so feeling a comradre he helped Zaha and went on his way. This caused Yi Zaha to feel indebted, because even though he's faced those episodes before this was one where he knew he wouldn't have come back and would've definitely died. He ended up remembering it into his regression and wanted to do something for Moyong Baek before he became the Poison Demon, and while he prevented it this time he wants to prevent it once and for all so that Moyong Baek can protect not only himself but his loved ones if need be.
I love bromance, I love BL elements in things ESPECIALLY in martial arts comics. I just know that Moyong Baek has a wife that he loves and cares for. Remember he took on those two women from that one place as """disciples""" or """second help""" because he and his wife had so much work?
I think a lot of people forget the beginning of the story, Yi Zaha used to be the crazy demon and went back in time through that one thing he stole from the demonic cult. Moyong Baek became the poison demon after his whole family was killed, the ones he loved, through the great rakshasa (or however you spell it) killing his loved ones. He experimented poison on himself when his vast amounts of medical knowledge wasn't enough. He ended up saving Yi Zaha in their past life by pitying him, the last bit of humanity that Moyong Baek ever had he used to save him. Because of that one charitable act, Yi Zaha remembered it until this regression and is using it to prevent the same misfortune from happening again. AKA he wants his comrade who also went crazy to stay sane and protect not only himself but his family from any sort of misfortune like that happening again.
Don't bs with terms like that, it's a valid interpretation( when they talk there's always a blooming effect, which is commonly used in romance stories specifically when the love interest and mc interact) and some other things could make you see it that way. I respect your personal view, and ask that you do the same to others who don't think alike.
You obviously have reading comprehension issues. Look at all the comments before mine, everyone is saying that there's bromance between Yi Zaha and Moyong Baek, I was saying that Moyong Baek has a wife so there isn't bromance at all. Obviously your homophobia instantly gave you a rage boner that you couldn't help but beat in the comments. Take your dumbass hateful self out of the comments and keep reading your brain-dead big breasted fanservice manga that you love.
This is the type of story that you need to turn your brain off to enjoy it... But at the same time there's fucking nuances and hints that it's a deeper story than it appears to be so it's also hard to NOT shut your brain off. All I can confidently say is that they're both dumbasses, mostly the MC. The ML is a fucking psycho who pretends to be dumb but at the same time does things in the most absurd way for what!? Shits and giggles?! Both are for sure mentally unstable, especially the MC who is feeling empathetic for the ML!!!!!!
They're made for each other, neither are good people so they only have each other to look to. Man I wish the raws were further I'm dying to know if this is all set up by the ML or not.
I can't lie, the author is doing a really good job at showing how manipulators act and the way that they know how to grip onto their victims. The ML knew that the MC was only a bystander (which in my books is just as bad as doing the act but I digress). He knew that before he sniffed his clothes he had a good relationship with the MC...... But he also knew how the MC's friends acted. He knew they were good for nothing bullies.
Because I know how manipulative, conniving, cocksuckers act I bet you this is what happened (guessing): The ML was just going to go through high school cruising on by, not getting attention from anyone despite having good looks because of how he masked his presence. Because of that, people thought of him lesser than since he seemed like an easy person to pick on.... But all of a sudden the MC and him start talking? And they get along? The ML probably instantly obsessed over the MC, and he was in on it for the long haul. Sniffing his clothes deserves an ass whooping for sure... But not the bullying he received... But like the MC said this chapter, the ML would look at the MC like "you see what's happening? You have a conscience right? Feel bad for me, be upset, feel immense guilt." and eventually the big fall happened.
If I remember correctly the ML was smiling or something when he fell. Like he got the MC in his trap. He probably waited long enough for the MC to "forget" about him for a few minutes then BOOM in his life again. I wouldn't be surprised if he stalked the MC since high school. Maybe he waited for when the MC would be at his lowest, treat him kindly then boom tear him down in order to keep him by his side. He probably feels like fear and control are the only things that would keep him, as anything else is "too flimsy"
BUT THAT'S JUST MY ASSUMPTIONS. I'm just speculating, based on how I've been treated in the past by people.
This is so good that I am going feral right now, I stayed up all night binge reading it all. AUGHHHHHHH why didn't I just wait until it was finished, I can't believe I have to wait for it to slowly be released now. The travesty, the horror, all in the amnesia-third wheel trope too!!!
I swear to god, usually I have second lead syndrome but I love the main male lead so much that I don't think anyone else would make me happier with Radan, not even a god.
I'm so nervous though, I wish the raws were on a site I didn't need to sign up for to read AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'm going to die, raws are on chapter 43 I need spoilers to continue I'm going to dieeeee.
I totally get why people are confused, I was at first too, but it's a centipede that's across the master's whole body. It's the Gu poison, poison created by putting a bunch of venomous bugs and put them in a jar, let them fight and eat each other until one is left. The centipede is the Gu poison that was used as a way to bring him back to life... Because as they say, poision is also medicine in certain quantities.
Also sorry for the double post oops LMAO

This comic is such a breath of fresh air. It's so cute and such an easy read. I appreciate those who are uploading the chapters! I stg I can understand Isabel though, scared of being chronically ill and in chronic pain again, scared of being looked at with pity and looked down upon for her life expectancy. I feel like the author of the novel HAS to be someone who experiences chronic pain, or at least has a loved one with chronic pain. The constant feeling of missing out, the dread of being unable to eat certain things, being unable to do things that you wanted to do, being unable to experience life to the fullest. All things that those with chronic issues face, and they're something the normal person wouldn't even dream of unless they experience it either firsthand or through a loved one. So I for sure think the author experiences something, and hope they're doing well!
