I just binge read this story, I love them so much. The build up and everything were fantastic, I am so thrilled they got together and are going strong, they're perfect for each other! I love Damon, he's such a cunty diva. He's so likable for me, he loves to play it cool but he's such a emotional whore despite how he makes himself out to be.

I love this, don't get me wrong... But I feel as if the storytelling is a little off. The beginning was fantastic, it caught my attention immediately and made me feel sympathy for the MC, but now it's paced weirdly. I don't know if it's because they keep focusing on random things, but honestly it feels like a ton of filler chapters. It's been 91 chapters and I feel like the MC still has a lot of growing to do in the martial arts world, plus when they focus on other people (like the martial alliance) it's a bit... annoying? I'm never looking forward to the chapters without MC, it really doesn't make sense to write multiple chapters without him when he's the center of the story.

I get what you mean but this is honestly a good compromise for being one of the only good manhwas out there that has good story telling +pacing no annoying females and a reasonable mc he doesn't go around killing everyone and his place in the martial world is shown well he's super strong but he still can't be compared to the strongest like the old man
I agree, chapters w/o him are so lonely… but at the same time world building can be important. Can’t really have new season of folks just coming to mountain to challenge him, and if he got his full revenge as soon as he met his sister, the story would be over, personally I let the chapters w/o him cook and just checked comments for his return then binged it! As far as him still needing to grow, guess he’s met a new grandpa to teach him a thing or two.

After reading so many comics, I can thoroughly say that having women in the comic or romance doesn't taint it since it all depends on how it's written. If the romance became the forefront or if it became harem, ESPECIALY when the women are needy that is when it becomes annoying. I agree that it's great that he isn't the strongest right now, but they are running around bragging as if they are.
World building is very important! I just wish they were smarter about how they wrote it. A lot of the time I don't mind how they do world building in other comics, it's usually something I don't complain about. Idk, it just feels awkward in this comic? But you're right, full revenge right at the get-go wouldn't be fun whatsoever. I might binge read it too after about 10 chapters
I love this author's tropes and art style. All of their comics are so cute, the fact that they made a morbidly cute one is so them. I feel as if this author is so fantastic with fluff that all of their work, no matter what, will have SOME sort of fluffy element to it. It's sad knowing that both of their other works are short, got me anxious about this one being short too. Their stories definitely could go on forever with how their storytelling skills are.

Man, I can stare at this art all day. Their expressions, the way the colors mesh so well together and the lightness of the lineart is everything. This artist is so fantastic and they're such a great storyteller that I'm constantly on the edge of my seat for more. Like PLS CONFESS, KILL THAT ASSHOLE, LET YOUR GUARD DOWN, I NEED MORE sorta shit. I read the comments of the prequel to this, reading both the good and the bad... But it honestly made me feel worse for Damon, like he was already internally comparing himself to his dom alpha brother because of his one parent blaming himself for being recessive. His opinions were never cared for, both by his family and those around him. The omega guy is fucking trash, he was an obvious fan which is cute but he definitely felt inferior to Damon. His inferiority complex turned into a victim complex, and while Damon did almost mark him honestly... Leaving Damon in limbo and pretty much taking advantage of him makes shit even out. They were young and stupid, and honestly I hope they don't meet up again because I feel like Damon is going to forgive him/apologize to him (which he doesn't deserve).
The younger brother is also part to blame in this, the fact that you were going after your brother's ex???? That is honestly gross, obviously he had to have known with people saying Damon called his brother after almost marking him. Damon can't even rely on his family, which honestly same but it's such a shame.
