I love age gaps, but at some point you have to think... This is borderline a grooming situation. Can adults be groomed too? OFC, but 18 year olds are babies. I'm only 26, yet I would never be with someone 21 or under. What do you relate to? What do you bond over? Anybody can be an old soul, but that doesn't mean someone 18 should be with someone 21+.
If he was 25, it'd be a cuter age gap. He'd be in college or freshly out of it, there'd still be an age gap, but they'd be able to relate in a few ways. When someone wants a much younger partner, it's usually to groom them into their preference. I'm going on a tangent on a one-shot but my point stands. Make age gaps fun again!

grooming isn’t about an age gap, it’s an act. it’s an act of manipulation. and we don’t see anyone grooming anyone here. there’s no “borderline grooming”, either someone is being manipulated or they aren’t, age gap has nothing to do with it.
