I feel soooooo bad for the MC. Here's the thing... Being sexually promiscuous is fine if you don't hurt people, it doesn't matter as long as you're being safe with it. You can't help people catching feelings when you don't want to be in a relationship... But a lot of people become extremely sexually active after sexual trauma. It's USUALLY one way or another, either extremely sexual or barely sexual at all, and I truly believe his past life's trauma was revived in his present life.
I mean, he's acting like a playboy when internally he's scared of being abandoned and alone. He's taking his own sexual experiences into his own hands, instead of having it taken from him. It's a way of feeling "control" in his life.

He'll feel like it's impossible so he'll try to move on in his own way (but ended up finding someone he thought was a lookalike- turning out to be the real person). It's cute how eager he is. I feel like people think this character is way to immature for his age, but I know a lot of people who STILL act like high schoolers, and I'm 26 from the USA... Which is saying a lot for some people.
I don't hate Silas yet I don't love him. He doesn't hand his heart out 100% to anyone, or so he thinks. He isn't fully aware how much he loves Arthur, so in denying his full fledged feelings he'll be hurting not only Arthur but himself. He thinks he only feels possessive but is missing the bigger picture. In order for you to want someone to trust you, you have to trust them too. THAT is where Silas struggles the most. He wants people's unconditional loyalty only to not be loyal to any one person. This is why I do not fully like him, as if Arthur stays with him when he's still this way it'll be tragic for the both of them.
Yall I think he's going to do whatever he can to keep Jahid by him; whether it be baby trapping, locking him up, or turning to his side and helping him (which is the best outcome by far). I'm both excited and worried.
I do also have a feeling they'll spend Jahid's heat together, Jahid will end up leaving when the ML is asleep and it's 50-50 whether he'd end up pregnant or not and have the kid on his own. I feel like the ML would go crazy looking for him but THESE ARE JUST MY THEORIES

This is one of the hottest switches. Sometimes authors don't fully capture the sexiness or emotional aspect switching has, but this was JUICY. UGH I wish there were more switch couples, especially ones with such good scenes like this.
