its a group of ppl that adapt sth (like video games, shows, webtoons, etc.) for a different audience. an example would be the localization team for the official jojo manga, games, and anime. they have to adapt the source material for a western audience (and dodge copyright issues) so they change around all sorts of names and all that jazz. hope i explained that alright. srry if u dont get it im rlly bad at explaining stuff (´ω｀)
