I just caught up on it and was worried for nothing. AHAHAHA. Dongwoo dissing his own dad is a power move. If anything, the parents are in the wrong for not telling their kids anything at all. I also dislike how their dad handled the situation without much thought. Surely enough you'd be shocked but how the hell can you not be happy for your kid who found happiness - no matter if you're a protective parent or not?

1. I am Asian and I have enough ethnic friends to know what will happen. Which is why I heavily criticize the homophobic and "restrictive" way of parenting. Restrictive in quotes because a lot Asian parents only do so in order to have "trophy children". However, there are enough Caucasian parents who are just the same. Maybe not always in the same field but the actions resemble a lot. Which is why I don't accept the "they're Asian/Korean" card.
2. They have been abroad for years. They left their adult kids back home. Do they really expect nothing to result out of this? My own parents taught me to always expect change. Now they have a 20+ bisexual daughter.
3. Not all parents force you out of their homes. There are those who are rational enough to talk with once the tension calms down. Social media, however, made us believe that those types of Asian parents do not exist.
So... Where's the hot lonely person who will console me? I, too, was easily replaced and objectified. I also want someone to smooch me off, now.
