Nah I don't like him bc he's cowardly. For the record, out of the 3, he's the least hateful but honestly what had he done for her? The other 2 even found her and kept a stalkerish eye on what she was doing but the leader of knights couldn't? He's an obedient puppet who only moves to other's will. outside of them both looking alike I don't have anything against him other than so far he's boring for a reader cause he only does what his family wants him to. He was engaged to Ophelia because of it, is escorting Elodie because of it.
When Ophelia died not only did he lose a friend he had been conditioned to think of as his future wife his entire life, he realizes the person who he thought would always be there is gone and has regrets it and keeps making impulsive decisions when he sees her cause he repressed himself so much.
Ophelia def would not have shipped it, I don't think she would have wanted anyone to be with Emilia besides herself if she were alive. Her main character trait is that she's selfish and rude lmao Emelia also wouldn't have liked anyone enough to leave Ophelia they had a weirdly obsessive dependence on each other.
