It’s not a lie that Kimin was crazy in love. Literally crazy. I’m not an expert but I would label the beginning of their relationship as toxic. I’m glad Kimin leveled out after their time apart and that Kyu told him that he wasn’t being considerate towards him and his feelings. The ending is cute and all but can’t say this was the best relationship I’ve seen. I can’t expect a perfect man and perfect relationship, but I think this one was uhh questionable.
While I did feel the need to throw my phone and run away due to the amount of secondhand embarrassment and the feeling that I was watching when I shouldn’t.. the story was interesting. Not sure if I could live through a re-read but nonetheless loved the characters and plot. (⌒▽⌒)
I am in awe that people can reread this book.. purely because of the amount of second hand embarrassment that one suffers through. I tried rereading, I really did.. but the second hand embarrassment is making my entire body cringe. Well, at least I can read the chapters after they get together ┗( T﹏T )┛

I just don’t get why that duke protected Rose when the punishment was death??? Once she is accused, wouldn’t she have died, leaving no one to expose his secrets? Why would he defend the very person blackmailing him when this would eliminate the source?? I haven’t read the novel so I don’t know if there’s extra details (like if she died she’d have someone else to expose him) but from what I see, she’s the only one that knows of this. Maybe her maidservant, but I doubt that the emperor or court would really believe everything she says. Even with an investigation, evidence might not turn out considering all this time only Rose found his secrets. If someone could either agree or disagree (and explain the logic), I’d be happy to hear.
