...and was really surprised! pleasantly so. they removed the rape and the force sex and replaced it all with largely positive depictions of a healthy couple. it was so far removed from the original source material that I had a hard time believing it was our old To-taka and Chunta. it was still really nice to watch, even though I couldn't connect the characters to the manga, which might be for the better now that I think about it. LA couple is really good.
