I like how MC is actually going through real losses and wins for her progress. Most stories would just throw a character into battle then have their flashbacks and then suddenly they became super strong. She’s actually progressing and learning each fight, she knows how far she needs to go in order to reach her goal— i think right now (ch 153) she’s halfway as strong as Engen but still far far away to becoming an Elder.
Just a thought, I have a feeling that Ihwa’s (?) mother might be the witch, because when chain told ihwa the history of Engen, engen was about to inherent the villain master but the witch came and intervened, her silhouette is kinda similar to ihwa’s Dad inner monologue “she kinda reminds me of someone”? Idk, any theories??

I think the way Mint was drawn from the beginning really had a huge impact on people’s opinion about their age gap and the way it was worded. To clarify, Mint is accepted into the dukedom’s in a ‘Sponsorship’ not as an adopted child, Julius was never her father. She was 15, and he was 22 when they met. When she confessed she was just a young girl in her teens inlove and was clearly rejected as Julius was more mature and knew better. Years later, when she was older their interactions became more intimate, again Julius was never her father but her Sponsor and she never looked at him as her father, she never interacted with him like he is her father. Vice-versa Julius never thought nor acted as her father.
And I know she literally looked like a child at first, like damn why was she drawn like that? She looked way way younger, she’s drawn like a 7 years old rather than 15, and Julius is 22 (probably in our world a freshman college student, literally not in his fatherly age??) and their romantic interest wasn’t even 2 sided at that time. Their relationship became mutually ‘romantic’ when they were much older Mint being 18(?) and Julius being 25.
Lastly, a pedophile is an adult that is ‘sexually attracted’ to minors. I have not seen or read any of that disorder from Julius.
It’s actually sad how he’s being accused as a pedophile, it’s a good read but people are dropping it because of this.

Now, question, in the beginning of the manhwa the artist drawn Mint exaggeratedly like she’s a 7 yrs old kid with the excused that she was not fed well, affecting her growth. If Mint were drawn more accurately as a not-well-fed orphaned 15 years old girl from the very beginning and the fact that everyone seems to forget that she is not Julius’ adopted ‘child’ but his beneficiary and that Julius only fell for her when she was an adult does that change our opinion of the story? Mainly Julius being a pedophile?

Give the story a chance, for real.
Reading comprehension has left the room. The people feeling icky about it can leave but I don't understand those who stay and gripe about it. Plus, being stuck in the mindset of the 'fatherly figure' (눈‸눈) I'd have serious issues if he had feelings for her but he didn't. If there would ever be a real issue, it's the power dynamic with him being the guardian and her the one under his care. But it's not as if he belittles her or disrespects her.
Anyway, if people are so disgusted, they could just drop it. Better just ignore those who stay and rant about it nonstop.
Is a really good read. So many wholesome and very comedic scenes. It’s worth the read.
Also, just want a confirmation from another reader. So in the succubus part, am i reading too much into it or Laios type is actually Marcille and Marcille as a Monster(?) cause the succubus lured its victims by transforming into the type/desire of its target right?

Marcille is the only human Laios felt attached to beside Falin, so the succubus read that as love. He clearly care about Marcille deeply. Apparently it's platonic so it doesn't charm Laios like they planed, so the succubus monsterfied her form.... which apparently works. Laios desire to be monster and find anything monster related attractive (?) Thats why succubus offer to make him a monster.

Same , at first I see them as sibling but some part like the succubus, kelpie bbq, Laio's dream, and after the rabbit where she lay on his shoulder got me thinking.
They clearly care and love each other. Saying them like inlaws also doesn't quite fit it for me, especially in those instances I mentioned where I feel some sort of intensity in their love. It's like a thin stretchy separation between platonic and romantic despite staying in the platonic side all time. (?).
Maybe since they are not biologically siblings, their platonic love have different air from familial love like the toudens. The kind of bond like they have on professional pair skaters.

32 and idk felt impatient. I just want want yul to tell them whats up but also be patient with him because i know its traumatizing. Then skipped to the lastest chap and now my best boy green flag ML is kidnapped by the ugly ogre Han. I REALLY LOVE the prince’s character, he is definitely the perfect ROMEO for his Juliet. He is soooo GREEN. I wish our cutie Yul will find strength and recover from everything soon! ~~ I’ll be back once this is finished >< I really thought this one was already completed tho (if you are wondering if its good to start with, it is! 105-106 got to be the most satisfying Yuria chapter ever. The latest chapters (120-128) kind of revealed a lot that didn’t make sense from the earlier chapters, there were so many random dialogues from the characters that didn’t add up but it’s now slowly revealing everything. It’s so cool how it all lead up to that very moment. Though I think more revelations will unfold in the next chapters. I wonder how they and Yuria will eventually defeat the Dark Lord. I also love the twist that Yuria was a warrior and a human who found a way centuries ago “a step” to defeat the Dark Lord. If the dark lord is trying to hide the existence of the mere folks that must mean that the Sea King’s power that Yuria found can definitely defeat the Dark lord in the future in some way.
There’s so many twist and turns!! I’ll read this again next year cause I feel like this will be a long read. Hope they will continue updating this! ^^
