Yea it's kinda hard to notice since the drawing has improved a lot and the boys looks so grown up but yea they're still in middle school
I don't rly remembered how old the sister is to be honest, but maybe she's only younger by a year or two?

I forgot his name but the long haired blond dude goes missing in the beginning of their high school years and only then return a couple of years after.
So we are now in the flashback of their younger years before he goes missing and everything went to shit I guess?

as far as I remember their age is never mentioned also I'm not too familiar with the Chinese school system so I always just assumed they were in high school based on their uniforms but yh the little sister cannot be much younger so that's why I just I assumed the boys were all in their early years of high school while she was still in middle school XD

hang on, then aren't they in high school after all? bc the period we're seeing now is set after Jian Yi has returned that's why he needed protection and such bc he's still technically in danger. or am I just confusing the events? I will have to reread this if that's the case bc I must have misunderstood smth. in my mind this is how it went: Zheng Xi and Jian Yi are the best of friends, then suddenly Jian Yi disappears for an entire year, and then he just turns up out of the blue and reunites with ZX, then we get introduced to He Tian and then little Mo and conflict happens, and they all become close buddies and romance blossoms, and HT is now about to leave for a couple of years to God knows where, and then he'll come back when little Mo is working, ZX is attending uni and JY is retaking his exams (this is the "current" timeline of the Christmas episodes)
so shouldn't they be in their second year of hs then? or am I missing smth?

oh wait, but that doesn't leave them time to establish their band... ahahaha this time thing really got my head in a twist XD I was always just convinced that they were in high school so I never really thought about it much... and I've been with this since the very beginning lol this is so funny (≧∀≦) but I guess them being 15 makes sense given their earlier design/behavior... oh dear, I'm gonna have to wrap my head around this XD if it weren't for your comment I would probably just go on assuming they're 16-17 since that's how I've viewed them this entire time...

dude, I had to go back and reread from the beginning and you're absolutely right! they really are in middle school (≧∀≦) and Jian Yi is yet to disappear I guess... some things in the timeline don't really add up though so I'm still slightly confused about what when and how happens but oh well maybe in another 8 years we'll have a conclusion to this XD I can't believe I had this all mixed up for 8 years now... and I have reread this several times but I guess I never paid much attention to the timeframe I just enjoyed their goofiness. anyhoo, much love to ya OP thanks for making me think about this XD <3
