This one was super cute, I don’t really see the problem with it and the characters. Even if Ren really wanted to feel more happy around Kaede and be more affectionate he couldn’t because he was on the drugs to dull his emotions, after he got off them he was more affectionate but obviously the progression was a bit slow because he’s been living with such dull emotions for so long aside from that he was very kind to Kaede and the whole leaving him alone after prepping him he mentioned multiple times that it’s due to him trying to hold back due to the traditions. He didn’t want to hurt Kaede and disregard his traditions so he did what he thought was best and leave before he could make mistakes. All in all it was really cute but I wish we could’ve seen more of their domestic lives cause Ren is really adorable
