When they said goodbye to us it caught me so off guard I got choked up and I have no idea why,, OKAY BUT I LOVED THIS STORY AND THEY WERE SO FUCKING CUTE this is a type of story where I could reread and not stress over it since there isn’t too much drama. Also I wanna give Gu Ze and Ye Ruchuan the biggest hugs ever :((( they’ve both been through so much and I’m glad they were able to find each other also Gu Ze’s parents are fucking assholes why the fuck would you tell your child “we shouldn’t have had you” as a way to console them?? Bitch you should’ve just apologized for being a shitty person and ended it at that’s

Damn I saw the word “broken” in the title and still thought it’d be a happy, fluffy type of story... Also I saw a lot of ppl not like Haero and tbh I can’t agree?? Personally I liked him, he was realistic with the way he handled things (obviously being realistic doesn’t mean it was morally correct) I don’t understand how some ppl expected him to be perfect in the ways he approached things. Honestly I felt bad for him way more than I felt bad for Don, from the beginning Haero was always hurting by himself, whether it’d be unrequited love, bullying for being gay, being rumored to have killed someone, being coerced into having sex with an adult as a minor, having to witness suicide, having to take on the burden for someone’s death and all while trying to protect the one he loved from the cruel opinions of others while having to endure the guilt he feels for loving Don. He wasn’t perfect but in his core he wasn’t a bad person, granted him having an affair with both Sunil and Don while they had respected girlfriends was a shitty thing to do I think it conveyed his character in a relatable light (relatable in the sense that ppl aren’t perfect). To be honest from the beginning to the end I didn’t like Don, I didn’t hate him but I didn’t like him either. To me he was selfish, he kept saying that he was trying to make Haero happy but he was the one keeping secrets, ignoring him when he needed him and later on blamed him for everything when he also was part of the blame. Even at the end when he was going to the hospital for Joon he could’ve woken up Haero to tell him where he was going instead of leaving him out. Like the whole situation with Jihyo fucking pissed me off bc I know he wasn’t cheating on Haero and he went to cut things off the least he could’ve done was tell him the truth when he had so many opportunities, doing all the shit and then acting like the sole victim was eh

DAMN can they just be happy like they’ve both been through so much shit,, also I find it so heart warming that Jiwoon had feelings for Suha since they were kids and he carried them into his adult years and he was finally able to act on them granted I think it’s ironic how we see them acting regularly like with Jiwoon using honorifics towards Suha and Suha casual but now it’s switched Im a sucker for childhood friends to loved troupes

I understand Min and why he didn’t tell Sijun despite me not agreeing I still understand where he came from. His relationship with Shin was his first, he was young and easily influenced, knowing that Shin manipulated him and forced him into a corner where it was constantly Min having to compromise for Shin’s sake bc Shin used his self harming as a leverage over Min so whatever he did and however he acted Min would think “I can’t get mad at him” or “I have to understand/be patient bc he would hurt himself again.” Min had to take on a burden of an adult as a teenager and he carried that burden and guilt into his adult years and when he was finally free and happy with Sijun, Shin popped out of nowhere and then used their past relationship to manipulate him again. I’m glad they were able to talk it out and Sijun got told the truth (granted I think Min still needs to tell him about his past with Shin since that’s what lead to the break up) but Min wasn’t being manipulative and Sijun didn’t accept his apology or take him back bc of a guilt trip it’s bc he truly still loved him. They can still talk to each other and figure stuff out as they progress in their relationship.

MR KIM GOOD SIR I HOPE YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD. He was out there spitting that hot shit letting Seungho know that he’s a piece of shit *respectfully* ,, also I wasn’t taken off guard when Nakyum confessed his interest for Seungho bc shit if I was him I’d probably bite off his dick or shove a paintbrush up his ass even if that meant me dying,, anyways.. but I do side with Hana when she said he probably has feelings for him bc he was so scared and cornered that his mind forced him to believe the only way he’d be safe is if he reciprocated his feelings. And even if his feelings are true then once again I think he shouldn’t act on it until Seungho genuinely apologizes and gets his shit together and obviously never repeat those acts again. Make that mf fully court Nakyum with the finest of things and let himself be used as a doormat
I FUCKING KNEW IT,, but I wasn’t expecting his dad to be in a little dinky bathrobe with a wine glass,, he getting it good huh??
