Right before Itadori’s grandpa died he tried telling him something about his parents, I think Itadori’s parents were jujutsu sorcerers and that’s how they died (they could’ve also been someone in the high rank). And bc of that he also has a bit of jujutsu curse in him (something no one knew bc Itadori’s family aren’t there to verify or explain so everyone just assumed he was a normal person) and the reason Itadori isn’t familiar with it is bc he was never told and never trained to use it, also I believe his technique is something more subtle than everyone else’s, maybe a mental technique. When Junpei died, Itadori created a false memory in which Junpei got to live his ideal life of being surrounded by friends and being able to live a normal high school life. And recently he created another false memory of him being the blood manipulator’s brother. So what if that’s his curse? And by manipulating their memory he can use that to his advantage, whether it be to make them help him or make them destroy themselves. This could also explain why Itadori has inhumane strength and abilities (a lot like Toji; although I know Toji has zero jujutsu curse but he still had the bloodline of the sorcerers) and it’s also why he can handle being Sukuna’s vessel.

I read this a long time ago (okay maybe like half a year ago) and at that time I wasn’t really focusing on the storyline bc I was just reading it since it was funny as fuck and them together are like a comedic duo but I reread all of it today and goddamn the way the characters and I just skipped over the fact that he was raped, while I was rereading it it made me so uncomfortable especially when I found out that he likes it up the ass bc he was raped so frequently during his school years, I really hope that Reo situation gets solved

Not gonna lie cast few chs when they both had to go through that but they still had sex (again bc of him being drugged) I felt really uncomfortable but now that he’s sober and at his sober state he’s apologizing for what he did when he was non consensually drugged it just solidifies my previous theory on how he felt remorseful
