This is my personal opinion and morals (this is coming from someone who has depression and has had experience w attempts) but if someone used suicide or self harm as a way to manipulate me I wouldn’t go out of my way to save them, at that point I don’t see it as something I’m held accountable for,, that’s just shitty and maybe it’s bc I have experience w it that I’m less affected by it than someone who doesn’t and would feel guilt but wtf are you on to be manipulating someone with fucking death
my friend had to go through something like that and it was really taking a toll on her mental health, luckily she managed to find the courage and broke up with him later on. nothing happened. he never went through with it. he was just trying to tie her down in any way he could think of. people that manipulate others like that are... i can’t even find a word for it. it fucking makes me sick and terrifies me that people actually go to those lengths.
